Well this one was certainly a surprise. I haven't been watching South Park regularly over the last 10 years or so and I'm not quite sure why. Every time I catch an episode here and there it ends up making me laugh my ass off. Someone recently told me that season 19 was not to be missed. In fact, they said it might be even better than all of the previous seasons combined. They were right. Season 19 has an entire narrative arc which revolves around the town of South Park going through changes (for better or worse) in an effort to keep up with our modern times. Each episode could be seen as either a stand alone story, or a part of the bigger story of the town's evolution. All of the wit, humour, biting sarcasm, and political satire we've come to expect are exploding all over the screen. And once again, just like old times, Canada catches some shrapnel.
The clip above is from episode 4. Sergeant Harrison Yates is up late working on his Yelp review and drinking a brutally misspelled "Makallann 12".
