Johnnie Walker Invades Homeland...Again

Well, it's official.  Saul Berenson loves him some Johnnie Walker.  We saw him enjoying some Double Black in the previous sighting from this season.  This time around he's sharing a bottle of the old tried and true Black Label.  The video is from season 3 episode 7 entitled "Gerontion" and takes place at the 42 minute mark.

I was worried for a while that Homeland had lost it's way this season but it came back with a vengence about midway through.  Trust me.  It is worth while to hang in with this series.  Unlike some others which I won't mention here.

The Third Oban Sighting from HBO's The Newsroom

My only complaint about the latest season of The Newsroom is that it was way too short.  Just like this scotch sighting.  If you look very closely at around the 19 minute mark of episode 7, you just might spot the Oban bottle which has popped up twice in the past.  Or you could simply watch the quick clip I went through the trouble of editing for you.  Either way...enjoy!

Ron Burgundy Blended Scotch Whisky

We knew it had to happen sooner or later.  In a stroke of marketing genius a blended scotch whisky known as "Ron Burgundy: Great Odin's Raven Special Reserve" will be hitting the shelves just in time for Christmas.  I'm sure it will go great with a bowl of Ben & Jerry's Scotchy Scotch Scotch ice cream as well.  Anchorman II: The Legend Continues will hit theatres December 18th and I plan on being there to witness the glory in all its....umm...glory.

Click here to check out the clip of Ron Burgundy himself ordering a Glenlivet.  Now that he has his own blend I wonder if he'll turn his back on his original trademark single malt.  This new bottling is a blend of Highland, Speyside, and Islay malts.  If anyone knows where/how I can get my filthy hands on a bottle please let me know.  I'm trying to beat Santa to the punch.
