Here's another funny scene from NBC's 30 rock which features Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) being chastised by his own doppelganger. The alternate version of Donaghy pours himself a dram of Johnnie Walker Black Label at around the one minute mark and if you look closely you will also spot a bottle of Lagavulin on the table.
The clip is from the episode entitled "100" which immediately follows the one from our previous sighting.
Be sure and watch till the very end for cameo from another famous actor.

"30 Rock" Black Label Sighting Featuring Alec Baldwin
Follow @ScotchCinema
Ok. So it looks like the Clifornication sighting won't be ready on time, but for good reason. It appears that I've kicked a hornets nest with respect to that show and there are endless scotch appearances in every season. I've decided to do a little more research and put together a whole series once I have all of the DVDs.
In the meantime let's go ahead with the 30 Rock scenes as planned. This one features Jack (Alec Baldwin) pouring some Black Label which is quickly snatched away by Jenna (Jane Krakowski). The scene is from episode 19 of season 5 entitled "I Heart Connecticut".

"Hot Tub Time Machine" Red Label Sighting
Follow @ScotchCinema
Since the previous two posts featured Johnnie Walker bottles (Black Label and Blue Label respectively) it seems like a perfect time to throw some Red into the mix. I've had this scene ready to go for quite some time and have decided to do a full week of Johnnie Walker sightings. Don't forget to add any other sightings in the comment section or on Twitter and Facebook.
There is an elusive Gold Label (spotted in an episode of Californication) coming up as well as some 30 Rock sightings so stay tuned! No word on Green Label so I guess I'll just have to stare at the bottle in my barmoire* for now.

Click here & here for the previous Red Label sightings and here for the previous John Cusack scene.
*I've converted an old armoire into a functioning bar complete with hanging wine glass racks and various acoutrement.

Nine Sightings in "The Ninth Gate" Starring Johnny Depp
When one thinks of Johnny Depp and alcohol they immediately think Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas or perhaps The Rum Diary, and rightfully so. Yet even with all of the drinking which took place in those films there were ZERO scotch appearances. Oddly enough, it turns out that it was Roman Polanski's The Ninth Gate which features Depp consuming a truck load of scotch throughout. Specifically Johnnie Walker Black Label.
Does anyone else find it strange that there are NINE sightings in a film called The NINTH Gate? What about the fact that it was released in 1999?

The Fifth "Supernatural" Scotch Sighting!
Follow @ScotchCinema
SPOILER ALERT: This sighting is from last week's episode of Supernatural and I don't want to ruin anything for those of you who are fans. Having said that, I'll try not to reveal too much other than to say that it is another Johnnie Walker Blue Label appearance. Die-hard fans of the show know that "Johnnie Blue" is a drink of choice for two character's who have been curiously absent during recent episodes.
This scene is interesting in that the actual label and writing are hidden behind a note wrapped around the bottle. The blue tinted glass is a giveaway none the less.

Another Glencallan Sighting in "Burn Notice"
Follow @ScotchCinema
The pervious Burn Notice Glencallan sighting took place two seasons ago in the episode entitled "Noble Causes". The latest one is from this season's episode entitled "Acceptable Losses" which aired last month.
Loyal followers of Scotch Cinema should realize that Glencallan is one of several made-up whisky brands (E.g. MacCutcheon & Clyburn) which appear in various films and shows.

Ardbeg Spotted in "The Skin I Live In"
Follow @ScotchCinema
It has been nearly nine months since the previous Ardbeg sighting. I've been waiting for this film to be released on DVD and Blu-ray for quite some time and it is finally here. The Skin I Live In (or La Piel Que Habito) was directed by the brilliant Pedro Almodovar who also made the wonderful film Volver starring Penelope Cruz.
I had to do some creative editing here since the scene featuring the Ardbeg rather disturbing at times. The clips runs about 4 minutes and I'm not sure exactly what particular bottling of Ardbeg is featured here. If you think you know what it is then let me know.

Lagavulin in "Parks & Recreation" (Part 2)
Follow @ScotchCinema
Another big thanks to Erik for this second sighting from Parks and Recreation. The Lagavulin shows up in Episode 15 of season 2.
I'm slowly working my way through all of the sightings I have received via email, Twitter, Facebook, and the comment section. Just when I start to get worried that the site might run out of content I get bombarded with more hot tips. Still waiting for several new films such as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Roman Polanski's Carnage to hit the shelves so I can upload those clips too.
Watch the video and some screenshots below.

Lagavulin in "Parks & Recreation" (Part 1)
Follow @ScotchCinema
Nearly seven months ago I posted a scene from NBC's Parks & Recreation which featured a bottle of North Port. It has taken a while but I'm finally able to present to you the two Lagavulin sightings from this hilarious series.
All credit goes to Erik Ebeling for spotting these two Lagavilin scenes. The first one is from Season 3 episode 6 and is (of course) being drunk by Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) who is the quintessential man's man.
Check out the clip below and click here for the previous Parks & Recreation sighting.

50 Year old Cask Strength Bowmore in "Leverage"
Follow @ScotchCinema
Here's a brief clip from the TNT series Leverage. Nathan Ford (Timothy Hutton) serves up a hefty dram of 50 year old "cask strength" Bowmore at a charity auction.
Never saw someone drink such a rare and expensive single malt in a shot glass before. Probably because it is a terrible idea and only a complete idiot would shoot it.
Hard to believe that after more than a hundred posts we've never seen a Bowmore until now. Enjoy!

Sharon Stone in a William Lawson's Scotch Commercial
Follow @ScotchCinema
Here's the latest addition to our series of celebrity scotch commercials. You never know which Hollywood stars will show up in foreign commercials. This site has featured many whisky commercials in the past starring famous people such as Keanu Reeves, Robert Carlyle, Sean Connery, etc.
This advert for William Lawson's blended Scotch is from around 2006 and stars Sharon Stone. The commercial itself is pretty funny and is an interesting role reversal for Stone. You'll see what I mean when you watch it.

Glenfiddich in "Dexter" (Part 3)
Follow @ScotchCinema
Nearly two months ago I posted the first two sightings from our Dexter series. It took a while but I've finally gotten around to the third one. The Glenfiddich appearance is very brief and I'm having trouble figuring out what the year is. It somewhat resembles the 18 year old but the date is not clearly stated. Check out the pick below the video for a closer look at the bottle. Any help here is greatly appreciated.
The scene takes place in the 4th episode from season 3 entitled "All in the Family". Click here and here for the previous sightings and stay tuned for more (hopefully) as I work my way through this Dexter marathon.
